PBOC Announces BASE Camp Goes Racing

PBOC NATIONAL, LLC PRESENTS  BASE CAMP GOES RACING

SEPTEMBER 18-19, 2021

SEBRING INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

PBOC National LLC. Drivers Education at historic Sebring International Raceway. This is a two-day event Saturday and Sunday.  Go To www.Clubregistration.net to register. 

DRIVERS EDUCATION VENUES:   Drivers Education for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Students on Saturday and Sunday is available for $525.  One day entry fee is $375.  Instructor entry for Sat/Sun is $75. Solo Entry fee for Sat/Sun is $525. A one-day entry is $375.  

 SPECIAL AUDI NORTH ORLANDO RUN GROUP:

Audi North Orlando will have a special run group for their customers who are qualified Solo or Super Solo drivers.  Please register as a Solo drivers or Instructor.  Rigo Vega will help me identify all the Audi Team members.  Instructed students (Novice or Intermediate/Advanced) please register as a Student and we will assign you an Audi Instructor.

SUPER SOLO® run group is available at this event on Sat-Sun.  Super Solo® drivers please register as Instructors or Solo as appropriate.

CONVERTIBLES: ONLY cars with fixed rollover protection are allowed. If you are unsure, please call for approval.   If you run with the top down, you MUST use arm restraints.  No SUV’s in HPDE.

HELMETS:  Only Snell approved 2010 or 2015 or 2020 helmets are allowed.  No 2005 Helmets please.  If you have a spare helmet we can borrow for the Kids, please bring it.

BASE CAMP GOES RACING:

For over eighteen years PBOC has sponsored a charity event for children with cancer.  In the past we have worked with Zoeller Ministries and Kids Racing for Life.  This year we are going to partner with BASE CAMP Children’s Cancer Foundation, located in Winter Park Florida.  Base Camp, A 501c3 organization, has been serving children with cancer and hematology illness and their families since 1982. We will be giving the kids, many of whom have been ill with cancer, and their siblings and family members’ rides on the track in race cars and street cars.  We have set aside time Saturday ONLY from 11:00 to noon for these rides.   If you want to give rides in your high-performance streetcar, or your race car with passenger seat, we will have a sign-up sheet at the event. Only Instructors and Qualified Solo drivers can give rides.

We need donations for the expenses for lodging, transporting and feeding the Children and their families for the event.  A $300 donation can sponsor a family of four for the event. This includes hotel for one night, transportation and meals.  We are limiting this event to 20 families.  If you can sponsor one or more families, please do so. We have created separate Options at www.ClubRegistration.net  to process donations in various amounts.  OR Please send a check (in any amount, because it all helps) payable to:

RACING VENUES:  Sorry no racing venues for this event.

FINAL REGISTRATION:

Final Registration will be available at the track on Friday inside the paddock at the Discovery Motor home across from the Legends Building (follow PBOC signs) from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.  You will be able to drop cars and trailers in the Paddock beginning Friday night.  Saturday Final registration will re-open at 7:00am.  If you arrive late, follow the signs in the paddock to the Discovery Motor Home.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the event will be given full refund less a $25 process fee.  Cancellations received 7 to 14 days prior to the event will receive 50% credit for a future event.  Cancellations within 7 days of event receive no credit.  All cancellations must be in writing.  PBOC National, LLC. reserves the right to refuse any application.
